Designer brand Abraham & Thakore presented a collection made from recycled materials for both men and women. The collection launched with celebrity Shefali Shah walking the ramp, exploring the dystopian fashion that turned out to be glamorous evening.
Shefali Shah walked the ramp in an all-black shimmer saree paired with a long-sleeved blouse and a black belt. The brand used laser-cut sequins discarded from X-rays to provide additional sparkle to dresses and formal separates. while embroidered details utilized recovered film and cassette tapes.
Additionally, toffee wrappers, bin bags, kitchen foil, and rice sacks were creatively integrated into the designs.
The event was held from 9th-13th October in New Delhi, featuring other brands including Tarun Tahiliani, Antar Agni, Samant Chauhan, Pero, etc.
